Anantnag, September 15: Leaving everyone awestruck, a 13-year-old boy from Anantnag, Salik Khursheed, Tuesday scored an astonishing knock of 65 runs in 30 balls in the ongoing Youth inter-zone cricket tourney at Bijbehara.

The young lad smashed some huge sixes as he helped Anantnag zone run away with an easy win against Doru zone.

Earlier, after winning the toss Doru opted to bat first. They made to score an average total of 120 runs in the given 15 overs.

In reply, thanks to Salik’s heroics, Anantnag chased down the total in 13 overs. He remained unbeaten on 65 runs off 30 balls, earning him the man of the match award.
