Local2nd Division I-League: Kashmir FC holds Bengaluru FC to draw

Resuming its campaign in the second division I-League, Lone Star Kashmir FC held hosts Bengaluru FC Reserves to a goalless draw in the match played at Bangalore Football Stadium on Friday.

It was after a long gap that Kashmir FC were playing its I-league match as all its home matches so far were cancelled. After playing first match of the season in January in which it emerged winner against Ara FC by 3-2 goals, Kashmir were scheduled to play first home match on February 24.

Playing away match against Bengaluru FC Reserves, Kashmir FC held on till the end to thwart attacks by the hosts. The end result of the match was 0-0 draw. To hold hosts who are on the top of the points table in group for goalless draw on their home turf is not small achievement for the Lone Star like club. Kashmir FC was first club in J&K to play second Division I-League. Lone Star Kashmir FC will play its next match on March 19 in Goa against FC Goa Reserves.
