Srinagar, Sep 8: The four day Department of Youth Services and Sports District Srinagar Under 14, 17 and 19 level cricket tournaments started at various venues of Srinagar on Tuesday.
The matches for U19 ,U17 & U14 boys were played at SP College play ground, BHSS Zadibal play ground & BHSS Sonawar play ground respectively .
The DYSS Officer Srinagar Balbir Singh along with other officials Zpeo Eidgah Ghulam Qadir, Activity incharge Muzaffar Ahmad inaugurated the U-17 boys tournament at BHSS Zadibal playground. District officer on the spot checked the availability of Sanitizers for players & officials. In the U19 boys tournament two matches were played in which zone zaldagar defeated Zone hawal by 8 runs and in second match zone Amirakadal was awarded walkover against zone Eidgah.
In the Under -17 leve zone Gulbagh defeated zone Zaldagar by 69 runs while as in 2nd match Zone Amirakdal defeated Zone Rainawari by 124 runs.
In Under-14 Boys Cricket Tourname Zone Hawal defeated Zone Rainawari by 50 runs while as in the 2nd match Zone Amirakadal defeated zone Gulab Bagh by 29 runs.
