The rookie all-rounder of Australia who just missed to be part of the Australia World Cup squad has been going through rough and now holds embarrassing record in his favor.

Ashton Turner recently against Delhi Capitals became the first batsman to register five consecutive ducks in Twenty20 cricket. It was third straight duck for Australia in this year’s Indian Premier League (IPL) while playing for Rajasthan Royal’s.

In the match against Delhi Capitals, Turner was dismissed first ball Ishant Sharma. He has now three scoreless IPL innings.

Before that he had got first-ball duck for Perth Scorchers in a Big Bash League loss to Adelaide Strikers and a five-ball duck for Australia against India during their two-match T20 series in February.
