The 8th annual snow skiing course of Burn Hall Higher Secondary School concluded at ski resort of Gulmarg on Wednesday.

In the first course of the season, 18 skiers were imparted training for a period of 12 days by expert trainers Niyaz Wani and Feroze Ahmad. Earlier the 18 skiers were flagged off by Sebastain, Principal of the institute, on January 3 from Srinagar. During the 12 day course, students were trained in basic and advance level skiing. They also took part in the competition held between the students to grade their performance. Principal Burn Hall School has hailed students for taking part in adventure sports activities. He also thanked J&K Tourism and DYSS for the assistance. The school is going to conduct its second course of the season from January 18.
