Srinagar, September 21: Praising the young J&K cricketer, Abdul Samad, Afghanistan’s cricket epitome, Rashid Khan Sunday said everyone in Sunrisers Hyderabad camp is impressed by what he has done in the pre-season camp so far.

The teenager’s ability to clear the rope with ease caught Rashid’s eye in one of the practice games.

“I saw Abdul Samad in our practice game yesterday and he was hitting the ball really long. He is a very strong guy and can clear the rope easily,” Rashid told reporters on his birthday.

The Afghanistan cricketer remarked although he hasn’t seen much of Samad, everyone in SRH camp is impressed with him.

“I haven’t seen much of him yet but every player and coaching staff is very impressed by what he has done in training so far,” Rashid said.

Sunrisers Hyderabad will tonight clash with Royal Challengers Bangalore in their IPL 2020 opener.
