Anatnag, Friday, Apr 5: A blistering knock of 82 runs off 41 balls by Nasir Lone on Firday steered Bijbehara Royals to an easy win against Violent Storms in the ongoing Anantnag Cricket Premier League.
Getting the opportunity to bat first, the Storms made a steady start, however, lost the rythm in the middle of the innings.
They finally, managed to post the total of 152 runs in the allotted 20 overs, which though never looked enough, considering the average score at this ground.
Replying this average score, Bijbehara eased down the nerves quite early as Nasir Lone’s brilliance made the target look quite ordinary.
The right-handed batsman displayed some scintillating shots all-around the park, making the life hard for bowlers. He went on to hit six sixes in his 82-run knock off 41 balls.
Lastly, Bijbehara Royals finished the match easily with Nasir Lone bagging the man of the match award. The all-rounder also went away with the most sixes award.
