J&K High Court appointed two administrators of J&K Cricket Association (JKCA) and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) on Sunday hailed J&K Under-23 team for the big win. J&K Under-23 team registered one wicket pre-quarterfinal win in Under-23 One Day League against Mumbai on Sunday.
In a statement issued by JKCA, Justice CK Prasad, former judge of the Supreme Court, and Justice Syed Rafat Alam, former Chief Justice of Madhya Pradesh and Allahabad High Courts who are the two court appointed admisntrators of JK cricket body have hailed JK team for the win.
“It is great to see cricket getting back on track in J&K. Not only other issues are being resolved but the players also performing well. Under-23 team had done great job in North Zone group and now they made that better with this pre-quarterfinal victory. They should be hailed by one and all,” JKCA statement quoted administrators.
JKCA CEO Syed Ashiue Hussain Bukhari also hailed Under-23 team for the brilliant win and said, “It is big win for our team and they have made all of us proud. To win such a match at such a big stage is not easy and they have done this. All the players and the support staff need to be hailed by one and all. I on behalf of whole JKCA congratulate them”.
J&K State Sports Council standing committee member , Ranjeet Kalra while hailing team said, “This side looks unbeatable and have defeated some top sides so far in the event. After remaining unbeaten in zone, they have now defeated strong side like Mumbai which speak volumes about their potential. Team should be hailed by everyone”.
