Srinagar, May 11: After being used by international cricketers, Mohammad Shehzad and Anam-Ul-Haq Bijoy, West Indies women cricketer has also decided to wear Khan International Sports’ cricket gears.

She is now the first international female cricketer to use KIS equipment, which is a manufacturing company based in south Kashmir’s Anantnag.

Owned by two brothers, the brand was recently used by top international cricketers like Afghanistan’s Mohammad Shehzad and Bangladesh batsman, Anam-ul-Haq Bijoy in Bangladesh Premier League, hence leaving a mark at the highest level.

With this Windies cricketer having also opted for KIS bats and other stuff, the owners are aiming to make it even bigger,

“It really is a proud moment for us. First Shehzad and Anam used KIS equipment and now the West Indies woman cricketer also took up our stuff,” Shiraz Khan, one of the owners told KSW.

“We surely want to make it bigger now and are trying our best to produce the best equipment.”

Meanwhile, KIS has also spread its wings across Jammu and Kashmir. Several national and local players here wear its gears.
