Srinagar, Aug 25: The Sports activities kick started by Department of Youth Services and Sports (DYSS) on Monday in Srinagar amid COVID-19 continued on Tuesday at various venues of the City.

During the events social distancing rules were violated with will with players and officials seen mingling freely with each other and taking group photographs. This was violation at Goverment level.

Meanwhile On the second day, 8-matches were played in the disciplines of Kho Kho,Cricket  & Football.

The two semifinals  and a final of the Kho Kho were played  at GHSS Chattabal. In the first semi final zone Nishat defeated zone Hawal by 13 points. In the second semifinal zone Amira Kadal defeated zone Gulab Bagh by 10 points.

The final was played between zone Nishat  and zone Amira Kadal in which Amira Kadal emerged winner by 01 points and 2 minutes.

In cricket two semifinals were played at two different venues. The first semifinal was played at BHSS Zadibal play ground  in which Zone Hawal defeated and Zone Eidgah by 7 wickets . In the second semifinal played at BHSS MPML Bagidilawar playground zone Batmalloo  defeated  zone Amirakadal by  (6)wickets .
In football 3- matches were played at GINDUN ground Rajbagh.

The first match was played between the zone
Rainawari and zone Gulabagh in which Zone Rainawari emerged as winner while as in second match Zone Zaldagar defeated zone Nishat .

In the third match Zone Rainawari defeated Zone Amira Kadal.

The finals of cricket and Football will be played tomorrow.
