In one of the major developments that is going to push hype around UFC upcoming Fight Island card after recent couple of setbacks, the cousin of star fighter Khabib Nurmagomedov, Umar Nurmagomedov is going to make his much awaited UFC debut during Fight Island in Abu Dhabi July next month.

UFC debut of Umar who is regarded highly has been delayed couple of times in past.As per UFC signed Umar at the beginning of this year.

He fights in the Bantamweight division. Just like his elder cousin Khabib, Umar also has an undefeated professional record of 12-0. His last fight came in November last year under the banner of Gorilla Fighting Championship. He overcame the previously undefeated Argentine Braian Gonzales via a first-round rear-naked choke, website reported.

The news about his debut was revealed by Umar’s manager Rizvan Magomedov while talking to Champion at.

As per report he made no announcement regarding the opponent. Umar has the experience of fighting under Pro Fighting League, Fight Star, Samara MMA Federation, Battle on Volga, and GFC.
