Jammu and Kashmir Taekwondo Association feels proud in sharing a prestigious news that our Chief Coach Master Atul Pangotra, who is currently serving as a coach in J&K State Sports Council and also holds the Chair of Referee Chairman in Taekwondo Federation of India, participated as an International Referee in World Taekwondo Grand Prix Series 2018 held at Manchester, United Kingdom. Atul

World Taekwondo Selected Atul Pangotra for this Grand Event on the basis of his excellent performance in recently held International Referee Refresher Seminar in South Korea.

It is pertinent to mention here that the World Taekwondo Grand Prix Series has been designed by World Taekwondo, so as to bring all the Olympic Champions together for a progressive competition. Thus, it is really a proud moment for India in general and our State in particular as Pangotra was the only person representing the whole nation at this glorious event of World Taekwondo recorded ever in the history.

DN Pangotra President J&K Taekwondo Association and Working President Taekwondo Federation of India, Jagjit Singh General Secretary JKTA and Zaheer Abass Treasurer JKTA congratulated Atul Pangotra for achieving such a mile stone in the history of Taekwondo in India.

Anuj Sharma Organizing Secretary JKTA thanked the Secretary J&K State Sports Council and all officers of JKSSC for permitting Atul Pangotra for participating in this grand event.

 

Master Atul Pangotra is a State Awardee, Sher-e-Kashmir Awardee and also a two times Commonwealth Medalist. We congratulate Master Atul Pangotra for making it to the Grand Prix as it is his hard work for the development of Taekwondo in India as well as in State that payed off today.
