Srinagar, November 13: Baba Raza FC emerged winner of the annual Sopore Football League A-Division at Khushaal Stadium Sopore on Thursday, November 12.
The final of the ‘A’ Division DFA, Sopore Football League was played between Moosa Blues and Baba Raza FC . Baba Raza emerged winner by 2:1 Goals.
According to statement the match started with on thrilling note with Moosa Blue’s dominating the early proceedings and created chances which resulted in earning a goal in 15th Minute after the Start. But the team could not hold the lead and an equalizer came from Baba Raza FC side in 25th minute of the game. Ist half ended with 1:1 goal draw.
In the second half there was a neck to neck play & the strong defence line of Baba Raza FC became an obstacle for Moosa Blues forwards & could not score. In between Baba Raza scor d second goal and earned 2-1 lead.
Moosa Blues tried hard to eqaulize but could not.
Baba Raza FC defeated Mossa Blues by two goals to one.
Jammu & Kashmir Football Association has congratulated DFA Sopore and their management for their efforts in successful completion of League Football Tournament.
Fayaz Ahmad Sofi, District President Srinagar was the Chief Guest on the Occasions accompanied by B.A Basharat, Executive Member JKFA, Abdul Majeed Kakroo, Former International Footballer.
They distributed the Prizes to the Winners & Runners-up teams & Officials. The Office Bearers & Members of DFA Baramulla & Sopore were also present on the Occasions.
