Excited with his skill set Pakistan batting coach Grant Flower has said that Pakistan current premier batsman Babar Azam is going to shine in the ongoing ICC cricket World Cup 2019.

Babar scored 63 off 66 balls as Pakistan scored 348 in their 14 run win against England at Trent Bridge on Monday.

The 24-year-old batsman has made a significant impact since his making his debut in 2016, having scored 2,824 runs in 66 ODIs.

Flower has no doubts Pakistan’s batting will continue to do well after they were knocked over for 105 in their World Cup opener against the West Indies.

“Babar has come a long way. His game is improving all the time,” said Flower ahead of Pakistan match against Sri Lanka in Bristol.

“He’s going to develop even more, close to being at the top of his game, he is really exciting and he is going to be one of the best players in the world.”
