Biscoe students shine in ski championship at Gulmarg

The students of Tyndale Biscoe and Mallinson School shined in the Skiing Championship held at Gulmarg on Thursday.

The students dominated the junior boys and girls sections and were able to book their place for the State Championship. The events are being organized by Winter Games Association of J&K.

Wasim Bhat in senior age group bagged third place while as Mahmid Mohammad Baba also bagged third place. Romaan ul Madina bagged second place while as Tafheem Rouf Laigaroo and Haseeb Saadat Qadri bagged fourth positions in different age groups.

In girls, Warda, Rida Altaf, Saher and Jaza Rather bagged first four positions respectively while as Habashiya bagged sixth place. Nasheda Bilal bagged fourth place in different age group. Biscoe students had been training for the event at Gulmarg for last one week under their coach Mehraj Dar.

For Burn Hall, Basharat Ahad Mir was able to qualify for the State Championship.
