Srinagar: In the ongoing Col CK Naydu Trophy J&K Under-23 team is taking on Tripura at Agartala.

The first day of play was spoiled by rain and only 69 overs were bowled on second day . Earlier Tripura won the toss and elected to field first and the decision paid off as Tripura bowlers took seven wickets. J&K batting lead by experienced Ahmad Banday could only manage to score 164/7 in 69 overs.

Captain Paras Sharma is not out on 59 of 121 deliveries  and helping him is all rounder Abid Mushtaq. Surprisingly talented left handed top order batsman Haziq That was dropped from playing eleven despite his outstanding performances in past.
