The star Bangladesh cricketer Shakib Al Hasan has completed the 14-day mandatory self isolation period in the USA hotel before moving into join wife and daughter at home in USA.
Shakib al Hasan, who’s currently serving one-year suspension by ICC for failing to report corrupt approaches, returned home to USA – where he currently lives with his family – on Saturday (April 4) after completing 14-day isolation in a hotel – which was in the vicinity where his family was put.
Earlier on March 21, Shakib had posted a video on his official Facebook page that he had kept himself isolated at a hotel room in the United States since reaching there from Dhaka on March 20.
Shakib travelled to USA when the Coronavirus outbreak had already started and thus his family members — his wife and daughter already kept themselves in isolation along with his in-laws in America.
”He returned back to his house after completing 14-day quarantine and he is totally fine by the grace of Allah,” Cricbuzz quoted Shakib’s mentor Mohammad Salahuddin.
Shakib’s ban will end on October 29, 2020, after which he can return to professional cricket.
