Pakistan pacer Wahab Riaz has opened about the abuse he and his teammates have suffered following the humiliating ICC Cricket World cup defeat to arch rivals India at Manchester.

The pacer who is good rhythm has requested Pakistan cricket fans that they should criticize players and their performance but shouldn’t abuse them personally and their families.

“Demoralisation happens when you start doing personal attacks that begin in the media. You should criticize us and our performances but refrain from personal attacks. We’ll take criticism the right way but it’s best if you keep the discussion away from families,” Wahab was quoted as saying.

He said that team is in good mood now after having spend two days off from cricket to get their mind back in place.

“It was very good for us to get two days off, mentally we took some time off away from cricket. We went to roam around a bit and eat food. We’re fresh and we know what we did wrong so I think the break was a good thing,” he added.
