The man of the match performer of the Pakistan vs Australia ICC cricket World Cup class Australian David Warner has termed Pakistan’s premier pacer Mohammad Amir a world class bowler.
In the match, David Warner century lead Australia to 41 run win against Pakistan while as Pakistan pacer Amir earlier had bagged first ODI five wicket haul of his career.
Speaking after the match, David Warner, said, “Amir’s a world-class bowler. When he’s swinging it, it’s very difficult to try to get on top of him. Then when it’s seaming and swinging, it’s even harder”.
Mohammad Amir who is currently leading wicket taker in the current edition of ICC Cricket World Cup with 10 wicket on Wednesday became first bowler to take five wicket in an inning in this World Cup.
Mohammad Amir also became the seventh Pakistan bowler to pick up a five-wicket haul in World Cup history when he came up with a fiery spell in their big-ticket clash against Australia in Taunton on Wednesday.
Amir joined an elite list of Pakistan bowlers, including Wasim Akram, Shahid Afridi, Saqlain Mushtaq, Abdul Qadir, Wahab Riaz and Sohail Khan but became the first to achieve the feat against Australia in a World Cup game.
