District Kupwara emerged out as winners of the third deaf T20 cricket tournament that concluded on March 10 at TRC Ground Srinagar.

The tournament was organised by JK Sports Association of the Deaf and had started on March 9. It was hosted by Association of Deaf and Dumb.

In the event hundreds of physically challenged youth exhibited their talent and enthusiasm for sports an association statement said.

Add. District Magistrate Srinagar Mohammad Rouf Rahman were the guests at prizes distribution ceremony.

On the occasion President of the association, thanked guests for their appearance that boosted the morale of physically challenged players.

District Kupwara emerged as winner of the event while as Srinagar was runner-up. Third place went to district in Baramulla. In the event teams from Srinagar, Budgam,Pulwama,Anantnag, Baramulla and Kupwara districts participated.
