“It is historic beginning as never in the history of JKCA district level selection process was held. The cricketers were selected from south, north and central Kashmir who are getting their skills tested by Irfan Pathan now,” he said.

“For many of these cricketers it is first time they are performing at such a level and they will learn from this. It is totally different level and experience from where from they are coming. I remember when I used to play local cricket in Bijbehara I thought I am best. But then when I played in Srinagar I got humbled by seeing the quality of cricket at display and then same thing I noticed while playing in Jammu and other states,” Parvez added.
