Jammu, November 09: The Cricketers of Bhalessa, (Neeli ) a far-flung village of Doda have expressed gratitude to Advisor to Lieutenant Governor (LG) Farooq Khan for sending them cricket equipment.

It is noteworthy that Advisor Khan came across photographs of cricketers on social media, where players were playing in a tournament without proper cricket gear.

Advisor Khan, taking note, sent cricket equipment to these players as a token of appreciation and encouragement.

The players have now thanked Khan for his “kind gesture.”

“The players are jubilant to receive the cricket gears from Farooq Khan. We are so thankful to Khan Sahib for his thoughtfulness and for thinking of us while sitting at Srinagar. We shall now use the cricket Kits to improve our playing skills, we are touched,” said Mudaser Zargar and other prominent Cricket lovers including Mohd Ayuob Zargar (Chairman EE Sports & Cultural Society, Bhalessa), Mudaser Sheikh (Cricketer), Mohd Iqbal Zargar, Dr Farooq Saleem (Senior Cricketer) and others.
