Pakistan new batting superstar and new ODI captain has said that he shouldn’t be compared with Team India skipper Virat Kohli as they are two different players.

Babar Azam while interacting with media on Monday on being questioned about comparisons with Virat Kohli, said “It’s best if we don’t do this. He’s a different player and I’m different, that’s what I always say. I just focus on trying to make my team win”.

About possiblility of Pakistan touring England Babar Azam said, “Nthing is more important than life. Safety comes first and when that is assured we will move forward. PCB are in talks with ECB at the moment and only when our health and safety is 110% assured will we move forward”.

Babar Azam also expressed his views on playing cricket in empty stadiums and said that no one knows it better than Pakistan how it feels to with no crowd in stadoum.

“Playing in front of no crowd will be difficult. Nobody knows better than us how difficult it is to play without crowds as we played without almost any crowd in UAE for 10 years. When there’s a crowd, your effort-level goes up to 110%, ” He said.

About suggestion that he should improve his English, Babar Azam said, “I’m a cricketer, my job is to play cricket. I am not a ‘gora,’ who knows English completely. Yes, I am working on it, but you learn these things over a period of time, you can’t just suddenly learn it”.
