Don’t organise any football tournament amid COVID19 pandemic: JKFA to District Units

Srinagar, July 16: With cases of Coronavirus rising in J&K, the football association, J&K Football Association has asked all its District Units not to organise any tournaments.

JKFA announced this through its Facebook handle and has directed all its District and Zonal Units to stop all its activities .

“All DFA, Zones of J&K UT are informed not to organize any Football related activity in their Districts, Zones because of Covid-19 pandemic. The SOP’s and the guidelines issued by the Govt.should be strictly adhered to. The activities can only start after getting proper permission from the Concerned District administration, ” JKFA statement reads.

There has been rising number of COVID19 cases in J&K and at the same time sports activities are also picking up which in some way are helping the spread.
