Soon after scoring fastest hundred of 2019 World Cup , Morgan let loose hitting flurry of sixes. He finally got out scoring 148 runs off 70 balls. He hit 17 sixes which is new World record .

Earlier he looked in supreme touch from the word go and the England skipper Eoin Morgan has slammed the fastest 100 ICC Cricket World Cup 2019, and fourth quickest overall, off 57 just balls against Afghanistan in Manchester on Monday. He achieved the feat with a six off Rashid Khan.
Morgan struck a record 11 sixes — the most number of sixes in an innings for an England player in a World Cup — and three fours during his domineering knock which saw the wheels come off Afghanistan’s bowling in spectacular fashion.
Morgan took a special liking to off-spinner Mohammad Nabi, reaching his 47th one-day international fifty with a six. An over later, he collected 13 off Nabi with two back-to-back maximums.
