Srinagar City Club stunned star studded Odo Spartans in the semifinal of the Gani Kashmiri Super League (GKSL) at Rajouri Kadal playing field Srinagar on Thursday.
In the first semifinal of the day City Club defeated star studded by six wickets. Battingg first Odo batting lineup filled with stars like Manzoor Pandav and Ishtiyaq Robby failed to fire with the bat in crucial match. They managed to score 143 in allotted 20 overs. Nasir Lone with 65 was highest scorer for them while as Ishtiyaq Robby could score only 24. For City Club Mutahir, Rafique and Sahil took two wickets each.
In reply City achieved required target in 17 overs for the loss of only four wickets. Fazil Rashid scored 49 while as Asif Khan scored 22. Mutahir scored 21. Tahzeem and Sofi took one wicket each for Odo. Fazil was awarded man of the match.
