Srinagar, July 1: Pakistan rising batting star and limited over format skipper Babar Azam is feeling great to be back on the field as Pakistan held its first training session after landing in England on Tuesday.

On Tuesday whole Pakistan squad was seen training at Worcester were seen training after hosts ECB allowed them to go ahead. ECB allowed Pakistan squad to train only after their COVID-19 tests conducted by ECB came out negative. Pakistan squad is in Worcester as part of the 14 day mandatory quarantine period.

As Pakistan held its first training session in more than three months Babar Azam expressed his happiness and has said that he is excited to be back on the field.

“Great feeling to be on the cricket field again. I really missed it. Look forward to our historic series and praying that everyone gets back to their normal life soon. Keep shining and never give up, ” Babar Azam Tweeted along with pics.

Earlier had also tweeted when Pakistan team left from Lahore for England . He had termed tour as historic.

“On our way to another historic Pakistan tour to England. Its always great to play in England and I look forward to get on this journey with our talented bunch of players. Fans, as always we would be in need of you prayers, love and unconditional support, ” Babar Tweeted.

Pakistan are scheduled to play three Tests and as many T20Is against England in August and September.
