Srinagar, Sept 21: In the ongoing Green Willow Inter Village Cricket Championship Palhallan 2020 Knight Hawks Yadipora beat Rawanpora Royals by two wickets on Monday.
Rawanpora Royals won the toss and decided to bat first. They posted a good total of 151/9 in allotted 20 overs.Tawheed scored 39 runs and Tanveer scored 34 runs. Irfan took 3 wickets for Knight Hawks while as Hashim also grabbed 2 wickets .
In reply , Knight Hawks Yadipora’s opener Razzak smashed 14 runs of first over. Hashim and Showkat departed cheaply and then it was Yaqoob and Ishfaq who held innings together scored 48 runs each. Rawanpora Royals were in control till 12th over. Ishfaq scored 13th over in 18 runs.
In last 2 overs 9 runs were required and Tanveer Dar bowled a wicket Maiden After thay equation was required from 6 ball 9 runs.
The ball was handed to Maqbool. There was no run in first two balls.
Irfan smashed back to back boundaries followed by single. Hence won the match with 2 balls to spare. Gulzar , Shabir & Tanveer took 2 wickets each for RR.
Ishfaq Ah was awarded man of the match for his match winning knock of 48 runs.
