Doda, June 13: Ali Cricket Club Chanderkote (ACCC) Ramban  defeated Cape Cobra Cricket Club (CCCC) Trown by one wicket in a nail biting contest in the ongoing All India 15th Gufran Memorial T20 Cricket Championship 2019 played at Sports Stadium Doda here today.

The tournament is being  organized by Young Star Cricket Club Doda and sponsored by J&K Bank Ltd, Zum Zum Sweets (Kud Wale), Mumtaz Building Material Doda, Hotel Doda Darbar, Green Model Hr Sec School Doda, Shaheen Pub Hr Sec School Doda, Chenab Valley Pub Hr Sec School Doda, Natnoo Furnishing House and with the active support of District Administration and District Police Doda.

After winning the toss, CCCC Trown team elected to bat first and set a target of 112 runs for the loss of all their wickets in 18.3 overs.

Syed Shabir was the highest scorer with 36 while Shabir Ahmed contributed 14 runs .For ACCC Ramban, Rashid Ali took three wickets while Amjad Khan and Mujtaba Ali shared one wicket each.

Chasing the target, ACCC Ramban team in a nail biting contest could make the target of 112 runs in 19.1 overs for the loss of 09 wickets, thus by won the match by 01 wicket.

Raza scored highest with 31 runs followed by Karim Ali and Rashid Ali who contributed 24 and 15 runs respectively. For CCCC Trown team, Aquib Dar and Jahangir Ahmed scalped 02 wickets each while Sumanjeet and Mohinder Singh shared 01 wicket.

Rashid Ali of Ali Cricket Club Chanderkote, Ramban was adjusted  the Man of the Match for his best all round performance who was given prize by District Health Officer Dr Tariq Masood, Dr Hamid Parray and Ghulam Mohammad Gamgeen.

Sandeep Kaushik manages the score board while Yousuf Raza and Harish Raza were the Umpires during the match.
