Srinagar, May 27: Kashmir’s Haziq Bhat on Saturday scored a swashbuckling hundred to earn Daredevils a close win against Delhi Panthers in a T20 league at Delhi.

After Panthers posted a par total of 170 runs on board, Daredevils sent Haziq Bhat to open the innings. The southpaw didn’t disappoint his team as he paced the innings quite well.

The Sopore native maintained his touch as wickets kept falling from the other end. He ended up scoring 103 runs in 62 balls to take Dardevils home with four wickets in hand. His knock included 15 fours and 2 sixes.

Later, for his brilliant innings, Haziq was adjudged as man of the match.

The youngster is in Delhi for more than last twelve months to train himself for the upcoming domestic season. After having made a mark while playing for J&K U-19 and 23 teams, Haziq is considered as the next big thing especially in the longer-version of game.
