Star cricketer Parvez Rasool attended the match and was highly impressed with the way kids performed,

“It was nice to see these kids playing and their parents applauding each moment of it. These type of events are highly fruitful for betterment of cricket.” Parvez told KSW.

It was for the first time that children got to experience turf cricket on recently laid wicket of Bijbehara,

“We all know that even adult cricketers of Kashmir dream to play turf wicket, so it surely was something really special for these kids. By producing such kind of events BCA wants to provide budding cricketers a platform to grow as players,” Parvez added.

Bijbehara Cricket Association is planning to organise more such events in future,

” We are planning to organise same type of events for U-16 and then U-19 cricketers shortly.” Parvez who is President, BCA confirmed.
