After going down fighting 1-0 to Southern Samity in the match of second division I-League, Valley’s top football club Kashmir FC coach Hilal Rasool said that he is happy with the performance of his team.

“It was a game where we almost came out with crucial one away point against the side that is stronger than us. We missed a couple of close chances but that happens. Now we are looking forward to our next game in Mumbai,” he said.hilal parray

“My players did very well and showed grit and determination to play a top quality football in tough conditions and against strong side like Southern Samity. We have good mixture of young and experienced players and the team atmosphere is good,” he said.

Kashmir FC owner, Iftikhar Ahmad Lone has also congratulated his team for putting up a brave show against a strong side.

“I am proud of my team and they have again showed that they are willing to make Kashmir proud at any level. Southern Samity is much stronger than our side and has got some known faces of Indian football. To hold them to 1-0 score line in their own den is something that we should be proud of. Our team knows that they will get chance to settle score when Southern Samity travels to Kashmir for our home tie,” Lone was quoted by Greater Kashmir.
