Finding himself in the controversy and butt of jokes on social media Pakistan opening batsman Imam ul Haq has apoligised Pakistan Cricket Board for the for the social media controversy surrounding regarding multiple affairs.

As per PCB MD Majid Khan nephew of legendary Pakistan batsman and former chief selector Inzamam ul Haq, has goven his unconditional apology.

The report further quoting Khan has said that PCB has let Imam off with a reprimand.

Imam ul Haq who whose place in the Pakistan side has always been under scanner found himself in trouble when screen shots of his objectionable whatsapp conversations with multiple women were posted on social media and accused him of misleading them.

PCB MD Wasim Khan said on Monday, “Imam was remorseful and has apologised for what all has happened. But we have told him in clear terms although this is his personal and private matter but we expect our players to adhere to the highest standards of ethics and discipline”.

Wasim said although matter was personal but being contracted player, Imam had to adhere to certain guidelines even outside cricket field.

“We don’t like to comment on personal affairs of a player but we expect that our centrally contracted players will also show more responsibility being ambassadors of Pakistan cricket and Pakistan. Hopefully we will not see such incidents again, “he added.
