Srinagar, February 10: Ugly scenes were witnessed as Indian and Bangladesh players clashed physcially after the U19 World Cup final on Sunday, reports said.

Bangladesh, after triumphing their maiden World Cup trophy, were celebrating aggressively and amid all this some of the players were involved in a fight.

According to a report by Indian Express, “one India player rushed to confront and pushed a Bangladeshi player who had allegedly said uncharitable things and it was coach Paras Mhambrey seen calming his boys.”

After the match, Bangladesh captain Akbar told PTI, “Some of our bowlers were emotional and were pumped up. What happened after the game was unfortunate. I would like to congratulate India,”
