IPL-2019 Auction: Will Parvez Rasool, Umar Nazir, Manzoor Pandav find a buyer ?

LocalIPL-2019 Auction: Will Parvez Rasool, Umar Nazir, Manzoor Pandav find a buyer ?

The Indian Premier League (IPL) T20 2019 players auction is set to happen on December 18 , Tomorrow with the luck of four Kashmir cricketers, Parvez Rasool, Umar Nazir, Manzoor Pandav and Rasikh Salam to be under hammer.

Parvez-Rasool-Pandab-Umar-

Cricket fans of the Kashmir would keenly watch out for in what direction the hammer will go as they will hope that all the four gets a buyer.

While Rasikh Salam has hopes that Mumbai Indian’s may go for him after being called up for trials last month, there is big question mark on the inclusion other three star cricketers. While Parvez and Umar went unsold last year, Pandav was taken by Kings XI Punjab but was released without given a match to play.

This time there is high chance in auction that IPL franchisees may go for domestic talent rather than foreign owing to limited availability of foreign players. Parvez Rasool has been in great form recently for J&K in Ranji Trophy tournament. He is currently top all-rounder in domestic cricket. He has base price of Rs 50 Lakhs and it would not be too high for the teams that recently let go its big price players.

He is utility player who is fit for the T20 format owing to his knack of picking wicket and playing quick cameos.

Pacer Umar Nazir is hot from his match winning bowling through which he lead J&K to victory against Haryana in Ranji Trophy . It was just at right moment that pacer fired for J&K. Franchisees may have looked into it and may go for the man.

Pandav who last year turned into instant hit after being picked Kings XI Punjab has faded away from spotlight with the time. He is not part of J&K Ranji trophy squad while as T2) season is still away. In-between he was let go Punjab just before the auction and is now again in fray for the picking. Though he didn’t got any match to play but being kept in shortlist is indication that some franchisees is still having eye on him and may go for him in the auction.

All eyes would be on tomorrow’s auction and how it goes for J&K cricket lovers.
