The rookie pace sensation of J&K Rasikh Salam who was recently picked by Mumbai Indian’s team for Indian Premier League-2019 is likely to make his Ranji Trophy debut for J&K on Sunday against Assam.


After continuous average performance by senior players J&K Cricket Association selectors inducted Under-19 cricketers into its senior team. It also included Rasikh Salaam who alongwith with other three were fast tracked into senior team.

Considered to find of Irfan Pathan, Rasikh has already represented J&K senior side in Vijay Hazare One Day tournament. He was currently playing for Under-19 team in Cooch Behar trophy and has picked 19 wickets for the team so far.

Below coming into eyes of Pathan Rasikh had not played for J&K at any level and now within few months his life has come around full circle. He represented senior team then Under-19 and then was picked by Mumbai Indian’s for IPL. Now is all set to play for Ranji Trophy team.
