Srinagar, September 07: Former Indian cricketer, Irfan Pathan, Sunday named J&K’s Abdul Samad among three players he is looking forward to see in the upcoming Indian Premier League (IPL).

Samad will be donning Sunrisers Hyderabad’s jersey as IPL 2020 gets underway in UAE from September 19. Owing to his abilities of hitting the ball long ways, he is seen as a player to watch in the mega tournament.

Apart from Samad, Pathan mentioned Yashasvi Jaiswal of Rajasthan Royals and Ravi Bishnoi of Kings XI Punjab in the list of players who he thinks can make it big.

He said all three of them could be the future of Indian cricket as well.

The Jammu native has worked under Irfan as he is the mentor of J&K senior cricket team.
