Srinagar, June 22: Irfan Pathan Sunday named Shahid Afridi as the batsman he enjoyed bowling to and someone he could get out even today.

Irfan, the former Indian all-rounder, retired from all forms of cricket in the beginning of this year, said this during an Instagram live with cricket presenter, Raunak Kapoor.

In the rapid-fire round of interview, Raunak asked Pathan to name, “One batsman you enjoyed bowling to? Someone who you thought is your bunny and who you could get out by rolling your arms even today?”

“Shahid Afridi,” replied Pathan as both chuckled.

Pathan made an astonishing entry to international cricket after a successful stint at junior level. He made sure to cement his place in the team, producing some sparkling performances with the ball.

However, as the time psssed, the all-rounder lost his way due to several reasons, injuries being at top. The Baroda-born though made a few comebacks, he never played as a regular afterwards.

Lastly, he played domestic cricket for Jammu and Kashmir as player-cum-mentor before retiring. Currently, he is the mentor of J&K senior cricket team while aslo is majorly seen in the commentary box.
