The recently appointed mentor cum player of JKCA, Irfan Pathan on Friday thanked IPL Chairman, Rajeev Shukla for helping them organise practice matches.
J&K and Uttar Pradesh played four practice games at SK Stadium, Srinagar in which both J&K and UP won two matches each.
The matches were organised in order to give the match practice to both teams ahead of Vijay Hazare Trophy, which begins from 19th of next month.
Pathan took to his official Twitter account and said that Rajeev Shukla made it possible for JKCA to organise the matches.
He also mentioned that, it would help reviving the cricket in J&K.
