Irfan Pathan completed his five wicket haul while as Umar Nazir took three and Mohammad Mudhasir and Akaash Chowdhary one each as J&K bundled out Haryana for 91 runs in second inning to register a thumping 130 runs win against hosts at Lahli on December 16.
After Pathan had rattled the top order of Haryana on Saturday by reducing them to 49/4 in chase of 221 run target, hosts resumed their inning on Sunday. With the addition of only one run to total, Pathan removed Chadilia to give J&k first wicket of the day and also completed his five wicket haul. After that Mohammad Mudhasir removed the HV Patel to leave hosts for 53/6. Haryana tried to fight back but had no answer to J&K pacers as Umar Nazir removed Yuzvendra Chahal on the score of 75 and then Akaash Chowdhary got the wicket of AK Dagar on the same score. Umar then took out Haryana last two wickets to wrap up inning for 91 runs. J&K won by 130 runs and went on to bag six points from match.
Earlier in the match J&K batting first scored 161 runs in first inning with Obaid Haroon top scoring with 26. In reply Haryana were bundled out for 145 with Umar Nazir picking five wicket haul while as Mohammad Mudhasir four wickets.
In second inning , J&K batting was lead by Owais Shah who scored a aggressive and counter attacking 71 run knock to help JK post 205 runs in second inning. Shubham Khajuria scored 34 while as Parvez Rasool 30.
While chasing a target of 221 runs, Haryana batsman had no answers to the Irfan Pathan who was bowling in full rhythm. The old swing, indipper, movement looked all back and he went o to claim five wicket haul. Umar Nazir was awarded man of the match.
