In continuation with its sports programme the Department of Physical Education of Islamia College Srinagar organised an inter-group table tennis tournament for its students at Islamia College T T Hall Hawal Today on April 1.

The tournament was inaugurated by the Convenor College Sports Committee Prof. Shamim Ahmed Shamim  along with other senior staff members of the college. In the first match of the tournament ICS Oranges defeated ICS Yellows by 2:1 and in the second match ICS Blues overpowerd chellenge of ICS Reds to move to second round of the tournament with a 2:1 win. The tournament is being organised under the observance of “punctuality week” in the J&K State Colleges and to ensure mass participation of students in sports and extra curricular activities.
