The players met on the flight to New Zealand where Dravid has gone with the U-19 team as a coach for the junior ICC World Cup and Pakistan were travelling to play limited overs cricket comprising five ODIs and three T20Is.

Hafeez, who has played alongside Dravid in may India-Pakistan encounters, wrote, “Met with a man called THE WALL in cricket RAHUL bhai @Im_Dravid he is a great human being always there to talk about cricket & helping u out, honoured to play with him in the Field & always pleasure to meet U, stay blessed,” with a selfie of him and Dravid.

The Twitterati also praised the humble gesture by Hafeez and admired both the cricketers.

A few days ago, Indian tennis ace Sania Mirza, who is married to Pakistan cricketer Shoaib Malik, also travelled to her husband’s country to spend some quality time.

Meanwhile, veteran Indian cricketers Yuvraj Singh and Harbhajan Singh trolled their dear friend Shoaib Akhtar for the former Pakistan fast bowler’s ‘motivational tweet’.

While the words by the Rawalpindi Express were inspiring, it was his picture in the tweet, in which he can be seen wearing welding gloves, caught the attention of the two Indian cricketers and they took a subtle dig at him by calling him a welder and where is he going.
