Jasia Akhtar selected for India Reds

Top female cricketer of J&K, Jasia Akhtar has been selected for the India Reds team that will be playing the Challenger Trophy One-Day Tournament in Andhra Pradesh.


BCCI has announced India Reds, Blue and Green team for Senior Women’s Challenger Trophy One-Day Tournament-2019.

Jasia Akhtar of Shopian District has been selected for the India Reds team that would be lead by Shikha Pandey.

She is first ever J&K cricketer to be selected for India Reds team.

Jasia has been representing Punjab in the domestic cricket and was selected for India Resd after doing well for Punjab in Senior Women’s One Day cricket tournament.

Last year Jasia was selected for India Camp as well and is hopeful of representing India one day.
