Jatin Wadhwan makes it count

CricketJatin Wadhwan makes it count

Being one of the youngster who is reckoned highly and has done well at age group level, Jatin Wadhwan so far has not able to leave a mark while playing for senior team.

After being fast racked into senior side, Wadhwan apart from some glimpses has been unable to prove his worth and that abundance of talent he posses. Despite being in reckoning he failed to make J&K’s One Day team and Ranji trophy teams. However, he has been regular in J&K T20 team since last three seasons but has not been able to live up to his full potential.

In the 10 T20 innings so far Wadhwan has scored 226 runs with the average of 32. However, among all this he has two big innings of 70* and today’s top inning of 62.

On Thursday, Wadhwan played exceptional inning for J&k while leading the batting at top of the order against Nagaland. Before getting out, Wadhwan scored 62 run knock from 40 balls in which he hit 7 fours and 2 sixes. When he got out but before that he had made sure that J&K are well in course to win the opening match of Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy tournament.

Wadhwan has made again made grand entry into team but now he has to make sure that he performs constantly and justifies the potential he has got. He surely is full of talent but times get carried away and has proven detrimental for his own fall.

After getting good start in the series he shouldn’t  throw it away and should play sensibly in the remaining match.
