While various match fee and allowances of J&K cricketers are pending from last few years , JKCA Ansari faction who currently are at the helm of affairs in cricket body roped in Delhi veteran Manhas as coach cum player cum mentor on a three year contract.
The Association according to reliable JKCA sources is paying cricketer who during his hay days played for Delhi Ranji Trophy side a handosme amount pf Rupees 35 lakhs per season. Apart from that he also gets his share of fee and allowances.
“This is pure injustice and disgusting that a person who values nothing and has done nothing is being paid so much of money,” said a player.
Another player said that for this three year contract money of more one crore JKCA would have been able to do whole lot of development.
“For what JKCA is paying him so much of a money, has he done anything valuable for JK cricket. The same money could have been used for development but no JKCA will not do that,” he said.
Before the start of season JKCA claimed that it has no money and may skip national events including Ranji trophy. It was after it got raped from COA BCCI that JKCA went ahead with teams.
If JKCA has no money for teams and other developmental activities then what was the need to continue with Rs: 35 lakh coach.
