Srinagar May 21: Jammu and Kashmir Cricket Association will have to conduct elections before September 14 as Committee of Administrators on Tuesday released the dates for BCCI elections.

According to CoA report, state association elections must be completed till September 14, following which the fresh BCCI body will be formed on October 22.

“The appointment of the electoral officer will be done by respective State Associations on July 1.

On August 14, the process of preparation of the list of members, protocol and electoral roll of the State Associations by the electoral officer will be completed.” The report conveyed.

The JKCA was taken over by supreme court-appointed administrators a couple of years back, who later brought in Ashiq Bukhari to handle the affairs.

Pertinently, BCCI has also been run bu the Committee of Administrators since last two years.
