A two day selection camp organised by Jammu and Kashmir Cricket Association at the Showket Ali Cricket Stadium Baramulla, witnessed huge gathering from Kupwara district apart from other places of Baramulla.IMG-20180627-WA0051

Multiple number of cricketers from different age groups participated in the trial camp.

Some of the promising aspirants from Kupwara who participated in the camp were: Faisal Bashir Lone(U19), Anwar Masoodi(U19), Shiekh Junaid(U19).

“It is a very good step for young Kashmiri cricketers to showcase their skills,” said a player who participated in the trials.

“The trial event aims to mark out the hidden talent of Kashmir and provides them a platform to showcase their talent,” said other player.

“These events give the better symbols of prosperity of nation’s development as sports itself means to assemble,” said a senior cricketer from Kupwara.
