Mehraj Din denied entry to Amir owing to his unavailability of identity card, which later turned to exchange of words and abuse.

According to Amir, he was abused and attacked by the Sports Council employee,”

He denied me entrance inside the Stadium as I hadn’t the identity card, though, I had already taken a registration form. But he insisted for it and later abused and thrashed me.” Amir told us.

Despite requests, the official grabbed him, resulting in scars over his neck,

“It takes some days in completing formalities of the registration, so I requested Sports Council to allow me entry for few days till my registration completes. However, the official abused me and grabbed my throat.” He added

To investigate the matter further, we reached to Indoor Stadium official, Mushtaq Zargar,

“Due to security reasons, it’s mandatory for us to allow inside only those players/persons who have the identity cards. But this guy(Amir) refused to accept it despite our employee told him numerous times.” He said

While responding to allegations, he said,” The employee is over 50 years of age and it was the boy who firstly abused him. We then tried to sort out the matter but he(Amir) completely acted harsh.”
