Srinagar, May 20: Disheartened by his exclusion from Pakistan’s World Cup squad, Junaid Khan on Monday evening posted a mouth-taped picture of him on social media.
The pacer was dropped from the final team, paying way to Mohammad Amir, who wasn’t earlier part of the preliminary squad.
Apart from Junad, Faheem Ashraf and Abid Ali also faced the axe as Pakistan made three changes in the World Cup squad, this noon.
Khan was initially included in the team, however, owing to a couple of bad outings against England in the five-match series, he was shown the door.
Critically hit by this move, the left-arm pacer posted a picture on his official Twitter handle where he had taped his mouth.
“I don’t want to say anything. Truth is bitter. (Sach karwa hotha hai)”, he captioned the picture.
