The city of lights is about to witness the return of major cricket after nine years as the final PSL match between Peshawar Zalmi and Islamabad United takes place here tomorrow at the National Stadium of Karachi.

The law enforcement agencies have finalized a security plan and have announced alternative routes for traffic for the day.

Special parking zones have been set up with shuttle services to take spectators to the venue from various designated pickup points.

Parking sites have been set up at Federal Urdu University ground, Hakeem Saeed Park, Sunday Bazaar ground opposite to Baitul Mukarram Mosque, China Ground, KDA Club and KMC Ground.

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) along with the support of Sindh government has decorated the metropolis to welcome and honor the game and its players.

Posters of all the six teams have been put up around the city with the life-sized cardboard cutouts of Pakistan Suger League PSL cricketers installed along pavements.

Besides, billboards, murals, and welcome signs have also been displayed with colorful lights illuminating the venue and roads leading to it.

A Rangers spokesperson had announced special instructions for the spectators, saying that they will not be allowed to bring edibles or power banks to the stadium.

Karachittes are looking forward to the revival of cricket in the city of lights with great enthusiasm and pride.
